Rescue dog Gita saved her 84-year-old owner Keith Johnson's life on September 25, after the elderly diabetic fainted outside his Stevens County, Washington cabin and broke his hip. Gita lay down in the middle of a road, attracting the attention of a passing deputy and leading him to her owner.
