An article in Wednesday’s edition misstated why traditional Medicare can be expensive for beneficiaries switching from Medicare Advantage. Traditional Medicare has no out-of-pocket limit. The article also misquoted Diane Faligowski, CEO of Health Plans in Oregon, on the costs for original Medicare Part A, which covers inpatient stays and includes a deductible of around $1,600 per benefit period.
The actor Tim Curry is still living. A sports column on Thursday erroneously referred to “the late Tim Curry.”
