No one is safe from Stephen A. Smith’s harsh takes, even his First Take colleagues.
The controversial analyst joined the ESPN show a little late on Monday morning as he had technical difficulties joining from Las Vegas before Super Bowl LVIII.
Normally Smith would roast a professional athlete for a poor play or decision they made, but Monday’s take opened with him trolling one of his fellow colleagues almost immediately once he began speaking. This time Smith’s trolling was directed at former NFL offensive lineman Damien Woody, who was wearing a bright blue flowered shirt.
“Somebody needs to tell Damien Woody, ‘Big Papi,’ this ain’t the Pro Bowl in Honolulu,” Smith said. “I don’t know what the hell you wearing this morning, but we will talk about that later.”

Woody laughed as Smith poked fun at him for his shirt. However, First Take host Molly Qerim chimed in saying “I like that shirt.”
