The Seattle Seahawks could be without their top running back when they face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Running back Kenneth Walker to questionable as he deals with an undisclosed illness, according to the team’s injury report on Saturday. He was not listed on the injury reports throughout the week and will be a gametime decision.
Walker, who missed Weeks 2 and 3 with an oblique injury, has rushed for 234 yards with five touchdowns. He’s also caught 21 passes for 136 yards.
If Walker is ruled out, backup Zach Charbonnet will start. Charbonnet started in place of Walker in Weeks 2 and 3, rushing a combined 32 times for 129 yards with three touchdowns. He has gained 187 yards with three touchdowns in six games this season.
The good news is the reason for Walker’s downgrade is illness and not an actual injury. That could mean Walker could play even if he’s not 100% healthy.
