The latest stop in Johnny Kenny’s international career took him to a picturesque ground on the Italian coast, as the Adriatic Sea loomed over his shoulder.
Last week’s trip to Trieste with the Ireland U-21 side came in the middle of a busy period at club level, with the striker, on loan at Shamrock Rovers from Celtic, aiming to help the champions to a fifth successive league title as well as to success in their Conference League Group Phase campaign with Larne up next on Thursday.
