An unidentified dead body was recovered from Depoe Bay Harbor by the United States Coast Guard and Depoe Bay Fire District on Sunday.
Members of the U.S. Coast Guard stationed in Depoe Bay first spotted the body and reported it to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
In a press release, officials said that the remains had been exposed to the water for a prolonged time.
The medical examiner’s office has not released a cause of death, and the sheriff’s office is still investigating.
