The incident happened shortly before 2pm and the van involved failed to remain at the scene on the Cloverhill Road

A man arrested by detectives investigating a suspected hit-and-run in Dublin over the weekend has been charged and is due before the courts this morning.
The 24-year-old is to appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am.
