Megan Thee Stallion in True Religion’s Holiday Campaign

Rapper and three-time Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion is the new face of True Religion, the lifestyle fashion brand, for its holiday campaign.

The campaign, which debuts Tuesday, also features rapper, singer and songwriter Hunxho.

Officials described the campaign as taking a 360-degree approach, with out-of-home marketing, a social media takeover with influencer Dudette, holiday-inspired Q&As on the brand’s website and app, paid content across CTV television, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, paid audio platforms and emails.

“Working with True Religion is such a full-circle moment,” Megan said in a statement. “I’ve been a fan of the brand since I was a kid.”

“She’s the absolute perfect face for our women’s business right now, which is seeing double-digit growth versus last year,” Michael Buckley, True Religion’s chief executive officer, said in a statement.

The campaign shows Megan and Hunxho wearing items from True Religion’s holiday collection, featuring the brand’s signature horseshoe logos embellished in contrasting double-stitch effects on the back pockets of jeans, on jacket pockets, and on T-shirts. “Edgy” drops with moto-inspired colorblocking, shine, studs and “rock ‘n’ roll” touches like distressed graphics and frayed hems, will happen during the season. Looks worn by Megan and Hunxho appear on their social channels, in True Religion stores, and on truereligion.com. The two will appear in behind-the-scenes content, blogs and editorial content. In addition, True Religion and Megan will host a “Where Wishes Come True” event for the Pete & Thomas Foundation, founded by Megan and focusing on education, housing, health, wellness and community goodwill.

The True Religion sportswear and denim brand is known for its heavily embroidered jeans, signature stitching and emblem of a smiling Buddha strumming a guitar.
