There are few anime couples quite as adorable as Demon Slayer’s Mitsuri Kanroji and Obanai Iguro. The pairing is not just a wishful fan ship, the two Hashira actually became an official couple at the end of the series and even got married. Now, cosplayers @grotesquelia and @lilliathaceous on Instagram have recreated the iconic pair of lovers in a truly gorgeous look.
The cosplay is absolutely beautiful, depicting the couple sitting beneath a cherry blossom tree with one another. The Mitsuri cosplayer is wearing the character’s unique version of the standard black Demon Slayer Corps uniform.
The outfit is exclusive to the Love Hashira, consisting of a black skirt and a black and white high-necked long sleeve shirt with a white haori over the top. Obanai’s cosplayer is also wearing a very similar Demon Slayer Corps uniform, but with a few small differences. Theirs is a long sleeve black shirt and matching black pants with a white and black striped haori.

Mitsuri and Obanai Are One of the Cutest Canon Pairings in the Series
Both of the Hashira are wearing sandals and legwarmer socks with their uniforms. Mitsuri’s legwarmers are green and Obanai’s are white, matching their personalities and tastes. Both of the cosplayers also wear wigs that match their chosen character’s hair identically. Obanai’s is short and black, while Mitsuri’s is a light pink color that fades into lime green towards the end of the braids. The Obanai cosplayer’s mouth is also covered with a white piece of cloth, just as it is in the series. The pair sit close to one another, in a pile of pink flower petals beneath a cherry blossom tree.
