Former Cork Port CEO alleges conflicts of interest at board level in court case

Actions taken by executives have cast doubt on how agencies are run

Senior executives at three of Ireland’s four semi-state port agencies have launched legal actions over recent years, raising serious concerns over the status of Ireland’s critical port operations.

The revelation came as a former chief executive of Port of Cork, Eoin ­McGettigan, commenced a High Court action against the port company just months after lodging a protected ­disclosure.
