Woods previously revealed that she wrote the song for Towns, whom she’s been dating since 2020

Months after teasing a song she’d written for boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns, Jordyn Woods has released it as her debut single — and given the New York Knicks center a starring role in the music video.
Woods, 27, released the video for her song “Be With You” on Thursday, Oct. 31, and the clip accompanying the sensual R&B track features sweet moments with longtime boyfriend Towns, 28.
“It definitely took me out of my comfort zone but I feel like that’s how the best growth happens,” Woods wrote on Instagram of filming. “I had an amazing team help me put this together basically overnight 🤣 and it’s finally on my YouTube channel! I hope you guys love this little thing we did. 🤍”
The clip features Woods getting glam and driving a car before eventually finding her way to the NBA star. Viewers see their silhouettes embrace against a moody blue background, and the couple eventually drive off together holding hands.
“I’ll be everything you need/You know that I’m on your team/Glad heaven sent you to me/’Cause all I wanna do is be with you,” Woods sings.
The model first teased the song in May on Instagram, using it as the soundtrack for a post celebrating her four-year anniversary with Towns.
“4 years with my Bestfriend. ❤️ here’s a snippet of a song I wrote for him 🔥🥲🙃,” she wrote at the time.
Woods later told Billboard that she has “a bunch of songs” already recorded, and releasing a full-length album is her ultimate goal, though she considers the possibilities “endless.”
She also praised Towns’ support, saying he’d motivated her to get into the studio and face her fear of recording.

“He himself has actually recorded some songs, too. The first song I actually recorded, we went to the studio together,” she said. “We’re both very competitive. I was getting really scared to get in the booth, and he was like, ‘Oh, well, I bet I can go in the other studio and record a song.’ And I’m like, ‘OK, bet! It’s a competition: Let’s see who finishes their song first.’”
Upon releasing the video, Woods shared an Instagram post featuring behind the scenes photos from the shoot, and recalled her stint on the third season of The Masked Singer, during which she placed eighth.
“Some of you know I was on the masked singer in 2019 and got to hear my voice for the first time. This song is just for vibes, I’m not sure if we’ll get an actual “singing” song out of me or not… 😏,” she wrote.
She and Towns have been dating since 2020, and in February, the basketball star opened up to PEOPLE about how Woods’ support “is truly special to me.”
“You know, with my mom and my sister, I’ve seen the impact that good women have on men’s lives, and I’m just blessed that I saw that firsthand before I got with Jordyn so that I could learn to appreciate her,” he said.
