Passengers were evacuated from a bus which caught fire on the M1 motorway in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to reports of a bus fire on the southbound carriageway between Balbriggan and Donabate in north Dublin shortly after 1.50am.
No injuries were reported and all passengers were safely evacuated from the bus.
The fire was extinguished by emergency services and the vehicle was removed from the scene for technical and forensic examination.
Investigations are ongoing, a garda spokesperson confirmed.
