MUNSTER LINE-UP:
The post-Graham Rowntree era arrives in Munster with Ian Costello taking charge on an interim basis. Hailing from Dingle in County Kerry, Costello has named an interesting squad of players to take on the All Blacks XV this evening despite some noticeable absentees in the form of Craig Casey, Conor Murray, and Jack Crowley who are on international duty with Ireland. Six academy players have been selected to line out including Evan O’Connell who is set for his first cap.
Ex-Connacht winger Diarmuid Kilgallen and Shay McCarthy start on the wings with Mike Haley at full-back. The in-form Tom Farrell and Rory Scannell make up the centre partnership, while Billy Burns and Ethan Coughlan operate in the half-backs. Diarmuid Barron captains the side from hooker alongside John Ryan and Stephen Archer. The second row is comprised of Finnen Wycherley and Tom Ahern, while Gavin Coombes is joined by the experienced duo of Peter O’Mahony at blindside and John Hodnett on the openside.
