Five people were rescued after a boat overturned Sunday afternoon, Nov. 3, off Redondo Beach.
Crews responded around 1:28 p.m. after a boat overturned two miles off the coast of Redondo Beach near Avenue C, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
One of the people was not breathing when crews brought them to the harbor for medical attention, but the fire department couldn’t immediately confirm if the person had survived.
Fire officials didn’t have information on the conditions of those rescued.
