This is the moment a painted turtle trying to cross a road in Florida on October 27 was hit by a truck. Bizarrely, the impact sent her flying into the air and through another vehicle's windshield. Neither of the vehicle's occupants were injured, the turtle survived and was taken to an animal sanctuary for rehabilitation.
