The president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, is the man behind some of the most iconic movies and shows. Now for his upcoming Disney+ show Daredevil: Back Again, the producer wants to bring in Tom Holland to make a cameo. But there is one major obstacle standing in his way that might jeopardize his cameo dreams.
The gargantuan obstacle in this would be Sony, who has the film rights to Spider-Man. Even though it’s the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony can definitely be a major issue with Holland’s cameo in Daredevil: Born Again.
Will Sony Let Tom Holland Make a Cameo in Kevin Feige’s Daredevil: Born Again?
Kevin Feige has major plans to bring in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in his upcoming Disney+ show Daredevil: Born Again. In this, Charlie Cox would be making his return as Daredevil/Matt Murdock, and fans might get to see Holland alongside him in a cameo. However, for this to happen, the Marvel president has a very large barrier in his way, and that is Sony’s film rights over the character.
Due to this, the multinational conglomerate has the final say when it comes to Spider-Man movies and the character’s cameos in other projects. This has only intensified after the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and since then Sony has become even more difficult to negotiate with.
On the same subject, insider Alex Perez added via Comic Circus:
 I really wouldn’t know. I know they are trying to get him to appear in a short cameo in Daredevil: Born Again as a tease that Fisk and his Punishers are hunting vigilantes like him down, but I don’t know if it’ll pan out that we’ll physically see him.
Feige’s reasoning for having this cameo is to further tie the MCU heroes together. The popularity that both Charlie Cox and Tom Holland hold, it might boost up the ratings of the upcoming show as well. While at the moment not a lot is known about this alleged cameo, with time fans will get to know more on whether the Studios have reached a consensus or not.
However, given Sony’s history, it would be really tough to get them to share the Spider-Man character.
Zendaya Gushes About Working Alongside Tom Holland
In total, Zendaya and Tom Holland have worked together on three Spider-Man movies, and it was also where they fell in love. After the duo were spotted kissing in a car, they seemingly confirmed their relationship, much to the delight of fans worldwide.
Apart from this, the duo can also be constantly seen adding words of praise for one another, but have kept their relationship tightly under wraps. However, during an interview via The Hollywood Reporter, the actress was asked on what it was like to work with her real partner on screen. Zendaya added:
It’s actually strangely comfortable. It’s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him. He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does.
She continued:
He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read.
Interestingly, in a different movie setting, Zendaya and Tom Holland are all set to participate in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming untitled movie. Along with them, actors like Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon and Lupita Nyong’o are also set to act in the movie.
Apart from this project, the actress is also set to appear in the third season of Euphoria, which is set to start filming in January next year. On the script part, she added that she has not read the same yet and is excited to see what the show has in-store for everyone.
