On Friday, Ruben Amorim is set to speak to the English media for the first time since becoming head coach of Manchester United.
The 39-year-old was announced as Erik ten Hag‘s successor before the international break though continued until the pause to allow for a smoother transition of power both at Man United and Sporting CP. Having acquired his visa this week, he has been finally able to get to work, including out on the training pitch with members of his new squad.
Amorim‘s first task will be getting a positive result at Ipswich Town. The newly-promoted side have Liverpool and Aston Villa a run for their money at Portman Road already this term, plus picked up their first win against Tottenham heading into the break.
