A Wicklow clergyman lifts the veil on dying, exorcism and the afterlife

As Halloween approaches, a Wicklow priest who has performed exorcisms speaks candidly about encounters with the supernatural, death bed experiences, and why Hollywood gets it wrong

As the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead become blurred with the approach of Halloween, a Wicklow clergyman, who has in the past performed exorcisms and has sat at many death beds, said he has never come across anything that has weakened his belief in an afterlife.

We’re all familiar with the secular holiday of Halloween, on October 31; but as secularism becomes more commonplace, maybe not so familiar with All Saint’s Day, November 1. And the lines between both are too somewhat blurred.
