Rio – An opener of Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel had problems on Monday night (12), during the parade in Sapucaí. The setback hit the group’s last car, close to the Sambadrome dispersion.
In order for the vehicle to continue in the parade, part of its chassis had to be sawed off by members of the association. Due to the problem, the school was stopped on the Avenue for a few minutes and ended up having to speed up to finish the presentation on time.
Driven by the desire to return to the fight at the top of the Special Group, Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel took to Marquês de Sapucaí the plot “Pede Caju que Dou… Pé de Caju que Dá!”, by carnival artist Marcus Ferreira. Full of Brazilianness, Verde e Branca promised to treat the country’s history and the various symbols of the native fruit with plenty of information and historicism.
