No matter what happens in the preceding 90 minutes, post-match plans are in place for the two managers who go head-to-head in the last dance of the most dramatic League of Ireland title race for some time.

At the end of his team’s game at home to Waterford, Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley will share a bottle of red wine with his staff and allow his players a beer or two – but for one night only, as there will be no booze on offer for them at the club’s awards night tomorrow. They have business to attend to next week, a winnable home tie in European football.
