Alia Bhatt’s Jigra receives U/A certificate from CBFC

Alia Bhatt’s much-awaited film Jigra, co-produced by the actress herself alongside Karan Johar, has received its U/A certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The movie, directed by Vasan Bala, is set to release on October 11 and will see Alia in a powerful role as a sister determined to protect her brother, played by Vedang Raina.

With a duration of 155 minutes (2 hours and 35 minutes), Jigra promises to keep audiences captivated. The trailer has already generated significant buzz, showcasing Alia in a fierce, action-packed avatar. The movie’s U/A rating means that it’s suitable for viewers above the age of 12, making it accessible to a wider audience.

Initially set for a September 27 release, the film’s launch was pushed to avoid a clash with Devara: Part 1, another film presented by Karan Johar.
