Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway

It is NASCAR Championship 4 Weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Our final week of paint schemes for the season. From the first weekend in February, which began with a downpour in Los Angeles, to a nice warm November weekend in Phoenix.

We are going to see three NASCAR championship races this weekend. The ARCA West championship will also be determined. There are going to be a lot of fun paint schemes for the big finale.

Of course, we are all concerned with the NASCAR Cup Series race. Let’s get into the final batch of paint schemes before we close the book on 2024.

Austin Dillon No. 3 Dow Chevrolet

For the finale, Austin Dillon is rocking this Dow Chevy paint scheme with a military appreciation camo look. Dillon has worked with Dow for a number of years.

This is going to match the Phoenix desert. Perhaps Dillon will use his camo to sneak up on the NASCAR Championship 4 drivers and play spoiler on Sunday? 8.5/10.

Josh Berry No. 4 Texas A&M University Ford

This is the second and final time this season that Texas A&M University is back on the track. Josh Berry is carrying the Aggies colors on the iconic No. 4 car.

Berry is going to come up short in the Rookie of the Year battle. However, he has a chance to finish strong before he moves on to the Wood Brothers in 2025. 8.5/10.

Kyle Busch No. 8 3CHI Chevrolet

Kyle Kush is back, folks! 3CHI had to take a step back from sponsorship this season due to certain laws being proposed in congress and elsewhere in the country related to cannabis and hemp-derived THC.

However, that doesn’t take away the fact that this is one of the best paint schemes in the Cup Series. Black and gold looks great on Kyle Busch. Can he win the last race of the season and extend his record to 20 consecutive seasons with a win? 9/10.

Noah Gragson No. 10 Nitro Circus Ford

Noah Gragson and Nitro Circus just make sense together. The No. 10 is going to look really fun and bright on the track this weekend.

Next year, Gragson is headed to Front Row Motorsports. He will try to close out his Stewart-Haas career on a high note. 8/10.

Martin Truex Jr. No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota

How about this? Martin Truex Jr. is rocking the ultimate throwback to the start of his Cup Series career.

Bass Pro Shops and Martin Truex Jr. are damn near synonymous. One last ride at the NASCAR Championship race, although he’s not involved in the actual championship. 10/10 throwback.

Bubba Wallace No. 23 Star Wars/Columbia Sportswear Toyota

Now, this is tied for my favorite scheme of the week along with Truex. Bubba Wallace is racing with Darth Vader on his car.

Last season, Wallace went with the Rebel Alliance. This time around, he is joining the Dark Side. Let’s see if it helps him get a win while his team is punished for their action from Martinsville. 10/10.

William Byron No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet

Hendrick Motorsports has one driver in the Championship 4. William Byron is also the only NASCAR Championship 4 driver to make our paint schemes list this week.

Can Byron cap off his Daytona 500-winning season with a championship? The last driver to do that was Jimmie Johnson in 2013. The 24 in 2024? 9/10.

Jimmie Johnson No. 84 Carvana Toyota

Hey speaking of that Jimmie guy, he’s racing this weekend too! Johnson is bringing the Phoenix landscape to the side of his Carvana No. 84 Toyota.

It felt like Johnson was going to take a step back from racing at one point this season. Thankfully, he stuck with his schedule and we’re going to see him in the final race of the year. 8/10.
