November will begin with a cloudy, mostly dull day that will be broken by some isolated patches of drizzle and rain.
Temperatures will remain mild with highs of 12 to 15 degrees before dropping to lows of 7 to 10 degrees overnight.
Saturday will see mostly cloudy conditions with limited sunny spells and mild highs of 13 to 15 degrees.
High pressure will continue to dominate through the coming days bringing generally mild and settled weather, Met Éireann said.
It will be an overcast night with some clear spells and lows of 7 to 10 degrees.
The pattern of mild and drizzly weather will continue into Sunday when highs of 10 to 15 degrees are expected before dropping to lows of 8 to 10 degrees overnight.
Monday will continue this trend too, with cloudy, drizzly conditions remaining, particularly in southern parts of Munster and Leinster.
Highs of 12 to 15 degrees are expected before a change in conditions arrives on Tuesday with a band of rain likely to move in across southwestern counties by the afternoon.
Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees are expected.
