Colorado man found guilty of murdering 10 people at King Soopers supermarket in Boulder in 2021

A Colorado jury on Monday convicted the man accused of gunning down 10 people at a Boulder supermarket on all murder counts stemming from the horrific attack more than three years ago.

Ahmad Alissa was found guilty of 10 counts of first-degree murder coming out of the March 22, 2021 assault at King Soopers.

The victims were Neven Stanisic, 23; Tralona Bartkowiak, 49; Denny Stong, 20; Teri Leiker, 51; Suzanne Fountain, 59; Kevin Mahoney, 61; Lynn Murray, 62; Jody Waters, 65; Rikki Olds, 25, and responding Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley, 51.

Alissa’s defense lawyers hadn’t contested their client as the shooter, but argued for not guilty by diminished capacity because he could not distinguish between right and wrong when he opened fire.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
