Gardaí have issued an appeal for information after a cyclist who was injured in an incident in Co Monaghan over the weekend died later in hospital.
Gardaí and emergency services had rushed to the scene of the road traffic collision involving the male cyclist at approximately 1.15am on Saturday, September 21.
The cyclist, who aged in his 30s was seriously injured and removed from the scene at Gort an Teannal, Knockatallon, to Enniskillen Hospital.
However, he passed away there on the night of Tuesday, September 24.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
