Devara: Part 1 starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is minting good numbers at the box office. The film which had a successful opening made Rs 82.5 crore on day 1 in India in all the languages it was released. In Telugu, it made Rs 73 crore while the Hindi version made Rs 7 crore.
The Hindi version saw a jump over the weekend, however, it witnesses decline in numbers on its first Monday. The Hindi version of Devara: Part 1Â collected roughly Rs 4 crore on Monday, taking the total collection in India to Rs 31 crores. The Telugu version has made roughly Rs 128 crore in India so far.
Jr NTR was undoubtedly a big star in the Telugu industry but with the release of Devara, he cemented himself as a pan Indian star. He will next be seen in War 2 with Hrithik Roshan. Janhvi, on the other hand, made her Telugu debut with this film. She will next be seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Besides them, the film also stars Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Talluri Rameswari among others.
