Monte Carlo, 26 May. -(Adnkronos) – Ferrari starts strong in Montecarlo. In the first free practice of the Monaco GP, the fastest is the Spaniard Carlos Sainz who finishes in 1’13″372 ahead of his compatriot Fernando Alonso (1’13″710) on Aston Martin. Third was the English Lewis Hamilton (1’14″035) with the Mercedes, then the Red Bull of the Mexican Sergio Perez (1’14″038) and the landlord Charles Leclerc (1’14″093) with the other Red Sixth place for the Dutchman of Red Bull Max Verstappen (1’14″244). Session finished 3′ early due to an accident involving Alexander Albon (Williams), with no consequences for the driver.
