At least 274 people, including 21 children and 31 women, were killed and 1,024 wounded in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon today, the country’s health minister has said during a press conference.

Israel unleashed its most widespread wave of airstrikes against what it said were hundreds of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon as citizens were warned to evacuate areas where Israel said the armed group was storing weapons.
