On Sunday at 3:39 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a flood watch valid for Monday between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
The weather service adds, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall near the Tiger Creek burned area is possible.”
“Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations,” describes the weather service. “You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.”
