Gardaí have received no reports of an incident circulating on WhatsApp that a group of four boys were robbed at gunpoint in St Anne’s Park in Dublin over the weekend.
The frightening rumour was circulated in communities around the northside of Dublin yesterday, and it advised mothers to tell their children to stay out of the park at night after four local boys were stopped by someone with a gun.
