It’s football season and you know what that means — if you haven’t already broken out those jerseys, hats and pennants to rep your team, now’s the time. Of all the football merch out there, though, there’s only one collection that’s certified off-the-hook: NFL x Guy Fieri’s Flavortown. Yes, the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives king has his own line of gear that blends his brash style with America’s favorite fall sport.
Fieri is one of football’s biggest fans. He caters meals for his favorite team, the Raiders, during training camp, and he has thrown massive free tailgate parties that are open to the public for the past few Super Bowls. As befits a Food Network star, his NFL Flavortown goods pay homage not just to each of the league’s 32 teams, but to their city’s most famous local eats.
Let me give you a taste of what the designs are like: They feature pierogis for the Steelers, barbecue for the Cowboys, cheese steaks for the Eagles and, what else, but Buffalo wings for the Bills. Of course each team’s official logo also appears and everything is done in each team’s signature colors.
You can nab the fun and funkalicious graphics on banners, aprons, koozies, pint glasses, tumblers and even towels. Last year Fieri also launched T-shirts with an Instagram post that proclaimed, “This season it’s all about the three F’s: Fans, Food, and Football!”
Prices range from $7 for a koozie to $43 for a 3-foot-by-5-foot flag. The tumblers, which cost $25 for copolyester (a type of resin) and $40 for stainless steel are made by Tervis, a brand that’s been manufacturing drinkware since the 1960s.
I spy the perfect holiday gift for the Fieri (and football) fan in your life! FYI: For more Fieri fun, check out the star’s new Flavortown-themed Monopoly board game. As the mayor of Flavortown himself would say, it’s out of bounds!
The love Los Angelenos have for chicken and waffles has no bounds and may only be rivaled by their love for the Rams. So, Rams fans, this “Cluck Yeah” koozie is for you. You’ll never lose your drink in this bright yellow insulated sleeve — plus it’ll keep a can cool for hours.
Any tailgate cook knows you need to be prepared for spills and splatters. This dish towel should help — plus this Patriots-themed design gives new meaning to the phrase “catch of the day.”
Are residents of Buffalo, N.Y., more proud of the Bills or their namesake chicken wings? It’s hard to say, but luckily this insulated tumbler features both!
Fly, Eagles, fly — and fly this banner with pride. Emblazoned with a cheese steak-eating eagle, it’s designed to hang vertically, so you can easily drape it from your porch or a window.
Let’s roll out to Pittsburgh, home of the Steelers and some truly delicious pierogies. The city has been a hotspot for these Eastern European dumplings since the Industrial Era. Steelers fans: It might be time to consider a new mascot!
Winner, winner, barbecue dinner! Texas-style ‘cue gets it due on this Cowboys apron. It ties around your waist so you can still show off that Dak Prescott jersey.
A giant crab and bread bowl adorn this 49ers pint glass. That alone makes it a great gift for your favorite San Franciscan, but it’s also silicone, so it won’t break, no matter how rowdy things get.
Can you think of a better motto than “Play hard. Eat Nachos”? It’s the perfect rallying cry — and frankly, it’s not just for Raiders fans. Fieri’s famous Trash Can Nachos adorn the front of this tee. Pile on!
