Welcome to the Jan Jensen Era of Iowa women’s hoops. The Hawkeyes defeated DII Missouri Western 110-55 in an exhibition matchup on Wednesday to kick off the season. Iowa jumped out to a 33-17 lead after the first quarter and were in control of the game the entire way. Hannah Stuelke finished with 18 points and five rebounds, while freshman Teagan Mallegni impressed with 18 points, including four made three-pointers. In her Iowa debut, Lucy Olsen put up 14 points, six rebounds and six assists.
