Rajinikanth was admitted to a hospital in Chennai late last night. As per reports, the megastar will undergo a planned medical procedure today. The 73-year-old reportedly complained of a stomachache.
So far, neither hospital authorities nor Rajinikanth have offered an official statement on the health update.
On the work front, Rajinikanth has been keeping busy. He was shooting for Lokesh Kanagraj’s Coolie. The film also features Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan and others in key roles.
His next, TJ Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati and more, releases on October 10, 2024.
