A man has been arrested at Dublin Airport after Revenue customs officers seized suspected cocaine worth an estimated €210,000 last night.
The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested by gardai and is currently being held at a Garda station in Dublin.
It follows the discovery of 2.8kg of suspected cocaine after a man who had arrived on an inbound flight was searched.
“The man is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996, at a Garda Station in Dublin,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
