Cannabis seized
A man has been arrested after €136,000 worth of cannabis was seized in Dublin.
The bust was made as part of a joint operation involving gardaí and Revenue officers earlier today.
Approximately 6.8kgs of herbal cannabis was seized after officers from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the K District Drugs Unit, and Revenue’s Customs Service raided a home in west Dublin.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained at a Dublin garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
