Motorists should expect long delays this evening as emergency services attend the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on the M1 near Drogheda, Co Louth.
The collision on the M1 between Julianstown and Duleek – around 2 kilometres south of Drogheda – has led to the closure of two lanes.
Motorists have been advised to consider a different route as a result of the incident on the northbound road and have been urged to drive with caution, reduce their speed and obey instructions from emergency services.
Earlier, a man was injured by a vehicle in an incident near a Luas stop this afternoon.
There were delays for commuters following the crash by the Kingswood Luas stop in west Dublin.
The crash occurred on Bóthar Katharine Tynan by Kingswood Luas stop.
The incident was later cleared and roads reopened, with some knock-on disruption.
