The cast of The West Wing reunited last week and poked fun at the ridiculous modern political climate.
The main quip from the stars of the White House drama was that 25 years ago the writers had to use their imaginations to create plotlines… “unlike today, where storylines could be plucked right off the news: storylines that writers would have deemed a bit far-fetched, if not utterly ridiculous, 25 years ago,” said Richard Schiff, who played spin doctor Toby Ziegler, in clear reference to the Donald Trump chronicles.
