French-owned operator says Fair Deal Scheme does not cover costs

CareChoice, one of the country’s largest nursing home operators, has blamed the Government for its continuing financial difficulties after it made a €14.8m loss last year.
The loss in 2023 followed a €17m loss it made in 2022, and brought its accumulated losses at the end of last year to €65.2m.
