Shooting in a bar in Villahermosa, Tabasco, leaves three young people dead – El Financiero

In the early hours of this Sunday, an armed confrontation occurred at the Hope 52 nightclub in the area of Tabasco 2000, in Villahermosa, which left three people dead and at least two injured.

The events occurred around 4:00 a.m. in the central area of the capital of Tabasco, in front of the Government Administrative.

According to preliminary versions, the incident began as a dispute within the establishment that quickly escalated into physical violence and then led to a confrontation with firearms.

However, there are also versions that suggest that it would have been a kidnapping attempt inside the premises, which was thwarted by the bodyguards present, thus unleashing the exchange of shots.

The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Tabasco was in charge of removing the bodies, while Vía 3 Street, where the club is located, remained closed to traffic until at least 10:00 a.m. this Sunday, February 11, under the custody of the State Police and elements of the National Guard.

In relation to the incident, seven individuals have been arrested, reported the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).

The agency announced in a statement that after receiving the report of the detonations, the agents went to the scene and managed to capture the suspects, some of whom were trying to flee.

Furthermore, it was seized a firearm and three vehicles, including an armored Jeep Cherokee pickup truck in which the suspects were attempting to escape the scene.

This fact is linked to other violent incidents recorded this weekend, such as the discovery of an executed man in Comalcalco, the location of a human head in Huimanguillo and a shooting attack on a Navy agent in Paraíso.
