Yesterday I visited a prospect along with one of our partners to review the equipment update of an auditorium that has not received an update for more than 10 years.
Talking with the project leader, I asked him what use they require of the auditorium, what things have they asked of him and he cannot do it with his current installation? And the most important question for me is to know what users expect from the audience?
It is more common than we imagine to add small changes to the original project and even more so if it was adapted in the years that we experienced the pandemic.
They changed some of our habits and we reinforced hybrid collaboration as well as working remotely for results and speed. This opens up new opportunities but also risks, especially in the confidentiality of information, which already requires expert third-party services to keep the information safe and the network safe from hacker attacks.
There are already some large companies that hacked their infrastructure, apart from the initial blow, the collateral damage also counts; so having a budget for security is extremely important.
And what about the new spaces? I share with you that among the needs that I have heard the most from our clients are: good quality in the microphone so that those who are outside the office can hear perfectly, that the presentations are dynamic, that is , that local and remote meeting attendees can modify or indicate their point of view in the presentation, ease of use, in a desktop environment where they are not necessarily always in the same location, integration of those who are remote into the meeting and finally you can present and attend the meeting at any time, on any device and from any location.
It is important to know first-hand the requirements of the end user, many times the projects end up being sized and going over budget.
