Gangland boss Daniel Kinahan’s attempts to sports-wash his image have failed, but the fallout is far from over.
Dubai-based Dubliner Daniel Kinahan has now lost a US court case in which his company MTK Global was accused of using cartel drug money to poach boxer Joseph ‘JoJo’ Diaz. Kinahan has been ordered to pay damages of $9.7m (€8.8m) to rival boxing promoter Moses Heredia.
That court order gives Heredia the right to target Kinahan’s assets; could Kinahan’s sizable property empire already be in Heredia’s sights?
