This ‘powerhouse’ of a portable tire inflator is just $48 — that’s 75% off

Dealing with a flat tire any time of year isn’t fun, but now that it’s getting colder, the thought of waiting for hours on the side of the road for AAA to come to the rescue sounds downright miserable. Instead, you can snag this portable tire inflator for under $48 and deal with low tire pressure yourself.

This compressor comes with both a 20-volt rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a 12-volt car power adapter, so you’ll never run out of air, even if your battery is out of juice.

Why is this a good deal? 💰

It looks like the original price of this tire inflator is, well, inflated — it’s only gone as high as $65, according to our price trackers. But at $48, it’s still a great deal (and at an all-time low price)! And that’s not even considering the money (and time) you could save not calling for a tow truck.

Why do I need this? 🤔

There’s never a good time for a flat tire, but they always seem to happen at the absolute worst moment. That’s where the portability of this tire inflator shines. It doesn’t take up much room and, once you’ve charged the removable battery, it’s ready to go whenever you need it.

Other than portability, speed is my No. 1 concern when I’m looking at tire inflators. The last thing I want to do is stand around for an hour while I pump up my tires. This compressor will inflate a tire from 0 to 36 PSI in under four minutes and has a maximum pressure limit of 150 PSI.

Don’t want to wait outside while the inflator does its thing? It has an auto shut-off, allowing you to walk away while it’s working. I’m not one to care what color my tire inflator is, but if you do, this one comes in three colors — red, yellow and blue — and they’re all on sale.

What reviewers say 💬

Over 1,600 reviewers — an impressive 85% — have given this tire inflator a five-star rating.

Pros 👍

“This pump has had no issues at all airing up multiple bikes, trailer tires, and even my full-size truck tires,” said one five-star reviewer. “The battery seems to last even longer than they claim (at least in my case), but I do use the [power] adapter when possible to conserve the battery in case we really need it.”

Another happy customer championed the inflator’s compact size. “One of the things that I hate about pumping tires is you usually have to buy a very large size compressor or something that barely fits in your vehicle even with the carrying bag. This item is a fantastic size and can be stowed and hidden very easily.”

“Last winter I got several messages from my car that the tires were underinflated. I went to a Quick Stop near my house that has free air,” explained another five-star purchaser. “These visits were under less-than-ideal conditions. It was cold and windy, so when I got a message this time, I ordered this tool. What a difference! I used it at home, the air stops when it reaches the PSI you set it to, and it is lighted.”

“Powerhouse tool,” said a fourth fan. “This product is amazing. It’s easy to use and it’s easy to store. I actually now keep it in the back of my car. I use it here for a blowup pool for my grandchildren, and I also bought a bouncy house for my grandchildren in our backyard and that also fills up beautifully. We actually are purchasing one for our son-in-law to use.”

Cons 👎

While it’s a great deal, this inflator isn’t without its complaints. “I tried filling up the tires on three different rigs and the cordless battery died before I could finish the job,” cautioned a three-star reviewer.

“I use this pump basically for lawn tractor tires and my bicycles. It is very convenient not to have to take out and hook up the big compressor,” shared a four-star customer. “My only issue is the storage bag, it is definitely not the best quality, but does keep everything in one convenient place.”
