Georgia landed a major pickup on Wednesday evening, as four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley landed with the Bulldogs in a surprising move.
The nation’s No. 81 overall prospect per the On3 Industry Ranking, Wiley becomes the fifth wide receiver commitment of the cycle for the Bulldogs. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 12 wide receiver and No. 10 prospect in the Peach State for the cycle per the same metric.
A product of Milton High School, one of the nation’s best high school football programs, the 6-foot-4, 210 pound Wiley gives the Dawgs a heavy dose of size for the class, but there’s much more to him than just an impressive frame.
Wiley flashes impressive breakaway speed and acceleration, the ability to reel in tough catches, and often is standing behind defense on tape.
On his senior season, Wiley has posted 40 receptions for 680 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He led the Peach State in receiving as a junior, with 68 receptions for 1473 yards and 14 touchdowns.
A former Florida State commit, Wiley joins a receiver class for the Bulldogs that includes fellow four-star wideouts Talyn Taylor (Geneva High/Geneva, Illinois), Tyler Williams (Armwood/Seffner, Florida), Thomas Blackshear (Calvary Day/Savannah, Georgia), and Landon Roldan (North Oconee/Bogart, Georgia) for 2025.
Georgia also landed its first wide receiver commitment of 2026 on Tuesday, with top 100 prospect Vance Spafford of Mission Viejo High in Tustin, California.
The Bulldogs currently rank as the nation’s No. 3 overall class in 2025 per the On3 Industry Ranking.

“Milton High coach Ben Reaves Jr. can tell a lot of stories about what makes CJ Wiley special. But there’s one that stands out more than others. “This was the moment that I fully went all in on CJ Wiley,” Reaves told DawgNation.com. “We have a JUGS machine. He texted me one weekend in early August. He said ‘Hey coach, can I have the code to the shed? I want to come in on Sunday and get some work on the JUGS. So, I gave him the code to the shed.” The Sunday workouts became a ritual for Wiley – one he often share with his parents. His dad played at LSU and in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons, and his mom ran track at LSU. “What was great was while dad was feeding the balls into the JUGS machine then mom had got a pad or something and was giving him the business with that pad,” Reaves said. “Making him catch with contact. They are both out there working with him.
