Tánaiste asked about troops being able to return home from Lebanon next month

Irish soldiers deployed in Lebanon with the UN have told their families they may not be able to return to Ireland when their mission ends next month.

Fears remain high for a platoon of Irish peacekeepers locked down at a UN outpost along the Israel-Lebanon border, amid ongoing heavy fighting.
