On the rare occasions Kathleen Correia had a night away in a hotel with her husband Sergio, he would carefully plan the specifics of when, where and how they had to have sexual intercourse — a minimum of four times — as well as what she must wear.
It wasn’t a titillating conversation between a couple looking forward to some alone time with one another, it was a demand from her husband that she must adhere to. What she wanted didn’t matter and saying no wasn’t an option, she recalled.
