A A 5.1 magnitude earthquake shook Chiapas on the morning of this Sunday, April 21, as confirmed by the National Seismological Service. The event took place at 10:51 a.m. and at the moment there are no reports of damage or injuries.

After various adjustments of the National Seismologicalit was reported that the event had an epicenter 75 kilometers southwest of Mapastepec, Chiapas, near the border with Guatemala.
