Ricardo Costa, participant of the program “A Grande Conquista”, was disqualified after a conflict with Fábio Gontijo, Jenny Miranda’s ex. The argument began when Fábio threw a pair of holey underwear on Ricardo, who was lying down. The atmosphere heated up when Ricardo allegedly grabbed a knife.

In a video that went viral on the web, it is possible to see Fábio throwing underwear at Ricardo, who was lying down. The participant is scared by the piece of clothing and the others start to laugh, but he is disgusted by the attitude of Jenny Miranda’s ex. Then they begin an exchange of barbs.

The situation would have become a problem for production when Ricardo grabbed a knife. Supposedly, the object would only be used to cut off pieces of the rival’s clothing. However, the attitude of looking for the bladed weapon was enough to culminate in the participant’s expulsion.

According to Ricardo’s team, the problem was not explaining his intention when taking the knife. As a precaution, the program’s production team chose to remove him from the competition. The action was taken to avoid any type of incident in the program, ensuring the safety of participants.
