Rio – An accident between a car and a trailer left a man dead this Tuesday (30) at Km 112 of the Washington LuÃs Highway (BR-040), near Campos ElÃseos, in Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense.
According to Concer, the road administrator, two other men with serious and minor injuries were taken by Samu to the Adão Pereira Nunes Municipalized Hospital. All the injured were in the passenger vehicle.
The concessionaire also reported that the collision closed three of the four lanes in the Rio direction of the highway, generating 7km of traffic jams.
The Duque de Caxias police station of the Federal Highway Police (PRF) registered the case at 6:50 am. The incident is ongoing.
There is no information about the identity and health status of the victims.
