To the DAY, resident Zenilda Vieira Guimarães, who has lived in the neighborhood for 60 years, said that the hole appeared after work carried out by Águas do Rio teams three months ago. According to her, a boy and a little pig had already fallen into the hole previously. At the time, residents denounced Águas do Rio’s lack of interest in solving the problem. After the problem was resolved, the resident thanked us for publicizing the case.
On Friday afternoon (19), a motorcyclist was slightly injured because of the hole. In the images you can see the desperation of the residents in trying to help him.
