Casimiro de Abreu – The city of Casimiro de Abreu is preparing to host the traditional Festa de Rio Dourado on the 17th, 18th and 19th of May, organized by the Secretariat of Tourism and Events.
The opening of the party will take place on Friday (17th) with an unmissable musical attraction: singer Alemão do Forró, starting at 10pm.
On Saturday (18), the day begins with a dawn at 6am, followed by the civic parade at Escola Municipal Christiane Siqueira Salles de Carvalho, at 9am. In the afternoon, several cultural activities are planned, including children’s recreation, face painting and a Futmesa tournament. The end of the day will be marked by the show by the duo Cristiano Banni & Daniel, at 10pm.
Both on Saturday and Sunday (19), starting at 8 am, there will be exciting boot, lance and pillion equestrian events. On Sunday, the Department of Sports and Leisure will promote a Footvolley Tournament at 4pm.
And to end the program with a flourish, on Sunday at 7pm, the event ‘Bless Rio Dourado’ is planned, a moment of Worship and Praise with the participation of local churches.
